Weekend...

What did I do last weekend..?  Baru je lepas kan.. Let me see, on Saturday..Oh! I went to this Asam Pedas Restaurant fr Muar kat area Mutiara Damansara.  Sedaaaapp!!  They sell makanan Johor, so ada soto, laksa johor, asam pedas, mee bandung etc.  But their specialty is asam pedas and memang sedap!!!! Wish I had taken a picture tapi as usual lah..bila bab makan err terus lupa! hehehe.  Had lunch with my sis and her bf.  Sorang sepinggan lauk asam wth our own choice of fish..i pilih ikan jenahak, my sis ambik ikan merah while her bf chose ikan parang.  Actually you can share...you should share!!  Janagn ikut contoh kami yg suka melantak ni..!! Dgn penuh kesabaran bf sis I mkn sbb byk tulang!  And terima kasih sbb belanja lunch!! Amiinn semoga murah rezeki!!

Balik from lunch, rest then ke KL sbb ada Dr appointment.  My first time at this clinic and my friend told me normally the waiting time wld take ages!  But alhamdulillah, tak lama sgt maybe sbb dah 5 lebih and they close at 6pm.  I did overhear this couple saying nxt time they shld make an appointment at 2pm and then come at 4pm!!!  Finished jumpa Dr, then otw balik singgah kat bank nak kluar duit.  These 2 girls then approached me outside the bank and kind of tricked me into supporting this WWF charity thingy.  Since it's for a good cause, its ok I'll support.  So they ask for my IC to fill in the form.  Guess what, the girl said...Ooooh you melayu, I ingat you India.  Its funny, occasionally people mistook me for an Indian, which I don't mind..but I was told off once by an old Indian man for not understanding Tamil!  He said..'lain kali bahasa sendiri juga belajar sebelum bahasa orang lain..'!  Should I explain myself?  Takpelah nanti lagi dia ingat I kacang lupakan kulit..hehe.

Paul...

My sister has a cat which she named Paul.  Haii..adik aku, nama nak mat salleh aje hehe.  Anyway I call him Paul the toteless cat..sbb dah kena snip snip. keh keh keh

All cats have their own personality right..well, Paul thinks he's human.  He wants to drink from a glass...yes, he refuse to drink from the normal plastic container but will only drink from a glass.  If we want to leave the house, we have to inform him. Bcoz if not, balik nanti kena lecture (growling like he's nagging) and he'll bite you to show his displeasure.  But if you did inform him earlier, he'll act normal.  He also likes to watch us from his favorite place which is the TV counter, where I  personally I think he feels he's the "master" and watches over his servants i.e. us!

The only thing I don't like about Paul is he likes to ambush us.  And he always does when you lease expects it!  Bila balik rumah, and you have lots of things in your hand and you're trying to get into the house..that's the time he'll come and attack your legs.  When its time to go to the office,  tgh mamai pagi2 and you walking down the stairs..that's when he attacks you.  When you just open your bedroom door to get out, suddenly he attacks you.  When your hands are full with your laundry..he come's and attacks you.  When you are watching tv, doing nothing..suddenly he attacks you.

Dulu I allowed him to sleep with me.  But everytime he does, he thinks I'm some pillow that need some adjustment for his comfort.  So, dia ada this massage teknik with he's paws and kuku!!  He'll be pushing certain part of yr limbs while making room for him to sleep comfortably.  I end up not sleeping..while he's oblivious, purring in his dreams.  So no more..I need my sleep.

Paul the toteless cat...I hope no ambush tonight.

Financial Times..

Have you read the Financial Times lately?  I know  unless you are in the financial industry and due to work responsibilities, an average person would not bother to read it.  However, there are a lot of interesting news in Fin Times if you happen to read one.  Trust me, its not as boring as you would expect it to be.

The one that I read was March 31/April 1..you should read the article on page 5.  It's a story about this British guy called Neil Percival Heywood that was found dead in a hotel in China.  It was reported due to excessive alcohol consumption.  However, Neil's friends are not convinced bcoz this guy is known not to be a heavy drinker.

What is known about this Neil guy was that he was the typical upper-crust fellow, coming from private school, good education background..knows who and who in Briton.  Minggled with the upper socialite group, married to a Chinese lady and has been living in China for quite sometime.  Then he got to know some Chinese politicians and considered a confident for Bo Xilai, Chongqing Communist part secretary.

What was not known much was his work in China.  His declared job was as a part-time consultant to the Aston Martin dealership in Beijing.  But he also worked for a "strategic intelligence" company called Hakluyt.

Hakluyt it seems was created by ex-MI6 members and was involve in the intelligence industry..!?  Anyway, he's dead..the authorities are saying something else as his cause of death while an ex-police chief of one of China's province requested political asylum stating he has evidence that Neil was poisoned upon orders from Bo.

Macam James Bond movie kan?? Told you...Fin Times is not that boring okayyy...

Oil price and sanction..

Did you know Ron 97 has increase by 10 cents  and now costs RM2.90?  I bet you do..

Did you know why?  Due to higher oil price touching USD128 per barrel last month.  Some of you may know this..

Did you know what contributed to the increase in oil price?  Most of it due to fear of future supply from the middle east as a result of Iran nuclear issues and the sanction imposed.  Some of you may have read this..

How is this sanction implemented?  This is what I've read...it seems ships or containers will need insurance to cover the cargo they carry.  So currently most insurance companies that insure cargo such as oil are from western countries i.e. in Europe and US.  With Iran nuclear issue, these insurance companies have imposed restriction that any ship carrying oil purchased from Iran will not be covered by them.  So these ships that carried oil from Iran will have to seek insurance co's that will insure their cargo.  Unfortunately there aren't many or maybe none.  So countries that  have purchased oil from Iran such as Japan, India, China etc will not only face difficulty in finding ships that are willing to carry the cargo, but also insurance co that will insure the cargo.  Of course these countries will then need to seek oil from other producing countries which will have to go through new arrangements and dealings.  With all the hassle..wouldn't it incur more costs?

And Iran, knowing that they are being stabbed by the western countries left, right and center..wouldn't they put on hold their oil production and manage the predicament that their in?

With all the arm twisting that the western countries are doing on Iran.. were they expecting Iran to keep quiet?

Unfortunately we know due to all these, we are paying the price...

Ayoyo Vale....

Have you read about the Vale issue and the letter Zambry showed against Nizar?  I find this story really interesting.  Here you have Pakatan Rakyat going on and on about the government being liars, full of corruption, not listening to the people, no transparency... and how Pakatan will change all this if they are in power.

Well, lets look at this Vale case.  Vale, a Brazilian co. wanted to set up operations in Teluk Rubiah near Lumut.  The opposition question the operation's location on why was it approved at Teluk Rubiah and not Tg Hantu.  They stated they never supported and was not involved in Vale's plan to set up the multi-billion ringgit operation in Teluk Rubiah.  Macam biasalah..blame the government and accuse macam2 about this project.

Now, the best part is Zambry showed the letter signed by Nizar when he was the Menteri Besar and how he had approved the project, location etc and fully supported the whole damn thing!!  So..Nizar actually lied to the public just to make the government look bad??!!  Err..u bukan ke represent parti PAS, parti yg objektif utama untuk mempertahankan dan mentadbir mengikut agama Islam?  Why did you lie?

I'm just an average Malaysian who wants this country to be run by a government who will look after the benefit of the people.  If you say the present government is not doing a good job and you can do better...well kindly show it!! Why have you strayed and use whatever means to the point of blatantly lying, just so that you can achieve your political agenda?  Apa beza between your party and the present government?  If you the opposition really are looking out for the people, and sincere in making positive changes, then why do you need to play dirty politics? So now..you nak jadi Menteri Besar ni really for the people or for you to syok sendiri?  Coz from where I see it..sama je...lost in yr chase to be in power that you have sold your soul to the devil.

In politics, everybody always say they want to make a change...but in the end... they change to feed their personal interests.  Ayoyo Vale..cakap tara serupa bikin!!

Bromance...

Have you heard of it..Bromance?  Well, semalam my colleague mention it in our conversation about this "bromance" between this 2 colleagues.  If you refer to wikipedia..bromance is define as a close non-sexual relationship between two (or more) men, a form of homosocial intimacy.  Its combining bro and romance.  So kalau sis and romance...sismance?? hehehe

Anywayyyy..pasal my colleagues bromance ni..supposedly they are tight..buddies lah kan.  Tapii bila bab keje..the one with more knowledge didn't teach the other guy who has lesser experience.  When we asked him why didn't he, the answer was..susah sebab dah kawan2 and since bro tu tak tanya, gua tak ajarlah.  Err..so bromance apa ni??  Don't you care to help your bro especially in stuff that really matters like his work??  And since dah kawan2..bukan kau kena jadi boss, order dia..ajarlah cara member2..takkan tak boleh fikir kot?

This somehow reminds me of this boy I knew masa zaman sekolah.  We had just finish our SPM exams and I asked him how was it.  He said most likely he has to retake his SPM exams again.  He said he made a pack with his buddies that if one of them walkout during the exams, the rest of them will walkout to.  So during the exams, he had walkout several times ikut buddies dia.  Bromance kaw2 ni..!!  I wonder apa perasaan mak bapak dia kalau dia orang tau..  Well, I don't know what happen to him...hope it wasn't an expensive lesson for him to learn.  Hope he's doing well..sebab hensem budak tu..hahaha!  Mukalistik...eh, dah lari topic..

Err..siapa tak nak?? Amendelah minah tu..trying to find herself konon..ish ish ish..rugi wey!!

Supposedly its based on a true story..then they put the actual photo of the real couple.   Laaaa.... patutlah, the real mamat tu tak hensem! hahahaha!!! No wonder she was trying to find herself first before committing back to that guy.  keh keh keh...  Sahlah sume mukalistik!!  I mean ifff dalam Ombak Rindu, the guy bukan rupa Aaron Aziz..muka macam mat rempit tongkang pecah ke..rasa2 Maya Karin nak ke dinikahi atas dasar tak nak dosa maksiat?? Ke first nite dia kat rumah tu, dah cabut lari balik kg or ke rumah Hassan pemain layang-layang..orrrr ikut common sense, pergi ke balai polis and report kena culik and rape?? Oh tidak... sebab muka Aaron Aziz..bawak BMW...kena rogol pun jadi sayanggg kaaaan!!!  Redha and pasrah katanya!  Something is sooo not right with the movie...  Entahlah..tapi fofular citer tu kan sampai ada stamp??!!!

Investment strategy..

If  you studied investment before, u would know Investment 101 is never put your eggs in one basket.  Diversify.. or nanti your investment bersepai!  You should invest some in shares, deposits, commodity, unit trust, property etc.  Then if one market collapse, the other will help you to cover your losses.  Investment also teaches us to do research on the asset..always do your research before you invests.  So you would examine the market risks, industry risks, credit risks, market sentiment..etc.

I wonder...can we apply the same reasoning before we invest  in a relationship?  First, we need to diversify our investment..have multiple assets.  Then we do market research, what is the candidate's market risks, credit risks, potential growth, earnings ratio etc!!  Can we?? or we would then be branded as a "player" coz having multiple relationships or "materialistic" for only investing in candidates with high credit rating and high earnings ratio?? Plus all the drama from the jealousy, tak puas hati..etc is it worth it?

When it comes to matters of the heart..its very difficult to be logical kan...
